Recently, the HeroCoders team made the trip to Anaheim for Atlassian's Team '26, where we got to meet customers and partners face-to-face, hear what's working (and what isn't), and get a closer look at where Jira and the broader Atlassian system of work is headed. The event reinforced why we've been building what we've been building at HeroCoders. Here's what happened, what Atlassian announced, and what it all means for teams using our product suite to plan, track and execute in Jira.
The Vision
There was a single thread connecting every keynote and session at Team '26. AI is no longer coming - it's here, and it's reshaping how teams work.
With Rovo agents now embedded throughout the platform, the message was clear: teams should expect their tools to do more than display data. They should surface insights, recommend actions, and automate routine work.
Alongside AI, Atlassian is continuing its push toward a unified, secure platform with Forge, the infrastructure that ensures Marketplace apps run natively on Atlassian's own systems, delivering better security, compliance, and performance. The Runs on Atlassian programme is raising the bar for every app in the ecosystem.
And with Data Center end-of-life now confirmed for 2029, the cloud migration conversation has moved from "if" to "when", with Atlassian's enterprise cloud capabilities scaling to support even the largest organisations.

Where HeroCoders Fits: Plan, Track, Execute
At our booth, we showcased how the HeroCoders product suite is purpose-built to extend Jira across the full lifecycle of work, and how we're aligned with the platform direction Atlassian laid out on stage.
Plan with Portfolio for Jira
Atlassian's emphasis on organisational alignment and connected planning set the perfect context for Portfolio by HeroCoders.
Portfolio helps teams move beyond scattered boards and spreadsheets into a single, live portfolio view with flexible, dependency-aware hierarchies, capacity planning, and real-time progress tracking that gives leaders the confidence to commit to a plan. For enterprise teams managing dozens of interconnected initiatives, it fills a critical gap between strategy and delivery.
Portfolio is also fully built on Forge and has already earned the Runs on Atlassian badge, meaning it meets the highest standards for security, compliance, and platform integration that Atlassian is asking of the entire ecosystem.
Track with Clockwork
With AI changing the nature of productivity - where one person can now accomplish in hours what used to take days - understanding where time and effort actually go has never been more important.
Clockwork for Jira Pro brings intelligent, low-friction time tracking and cost management directly into Jira. Teams can capture time automatically based on workflow transitions, get accurate utilisation and capacity data, and generate the reporting that finance, compliance, and leadership teams need, without chasing anyone for timesheets.
At a moment when the ecosystem is building beyond simple features and toward connected, enterprise-grade solutions, Clockwork delivers time and cost visibility that integrates directly into portfolio-level planning.
Execute with Checklists for Jira
Checklists for Jira continues to set the standard for workflow governance. Already trusted by over 70,000 customers, Checklists for Jira helps teams standardise definitions of ready and done, enforce quality gates, and bring repeatable consistency to every process, from onboarding to incident response to release management. It's the execution layer that ensures the plans you've made and the time you've tracked translate into reliable, high-quality delivery.

AI-Powered Agents: Built on Rovo
Atlassian's vision for Rovo agents was the highlight at Team '26, and HeroCoders was already there.
We launched two new AI-powered agents at the event, built to integrate directly with the Rovo ecosystem:
- Portfolio Insights Agent surfaces risks, bottlenecks, and progress signals across your portfolio, turning raw project data into clear, actionable answers for leadership.
- Clockwork Timesheets Agent removes friction from time tracking and transforms timesheet data into practical insights, so teams spend less time logging and more time delivering.
The response at our booth was fantastic. In a week where every conversation circled back to AI, our agents clearly showed how Marketplace apps can extend Rovo to solve real, everyday problems.

Cloud Migration: We're Ready When You Are
With Atlassian confirming the Data Center end-of-life timeline, many of the enterprise teams we spoke with at Team '26 are now actively planning their cloud migrations. HeroCoders' suite is fully cloud-native, with Portfolio already running natively on Forge and both Clockwork and Checklists completing their Forge migrations, ensuring a smooth transition for teams making the move.
Stronger Together
We had fantastic conversations (and runs) with many Atlassian Solution Partners at the event. These partnerships ensure that wherever you are in the world, there are experienced teams who can help you implement and get the most from our Plan, Track, Execute suite.

Thank You to the Community
To every customer, partner, and community member who stopped by our booth, shared feedback, or connected with us during the week, including the brilliant Mark Cruth, who joined us at Team '26, thank you. Your insights and enthusiasm are what drive our product forward.
A Little Fun: Our Team Player Cards
Because every great team deserves to be celebrated, we brought our Team Player Cards to the booth, giving visitors the chance to create their very own personalised, football-style player card. It quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the week, sparking brilliant conversations, plenty of laughs, and a wave of love from the community online. More than anything, it captured what we believe at HeroCoders: that the best teams, whether on the pitch or in Jira, are the ones who plan, track, and execute together.
