We’ve got great news for US government agencies, or partners working with government agencies – Checklists for Jira (Pro) is FedRAMP compliant! HeroCoders is proud to have had Checklists for Jira (Pro) selected by Atlassian as one of the crucial apps needed in the Atlassian Government Cloud.
What is the Atlassian Government Cloud?
The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a U.S. government initiative that standardizes security assessments for cloud products. It categorizes systems into Low, Moderate, or High impact levels based on potential risks. Atlassian has achieved FedRAMP Moderate status with its dedicated Atlassian Government Cloud (AGC).
The Atlassian Government Cloud is a secure, cloud-based solution tailored for U.S. government agencies and contractors, allowing them to use Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management within a FedRAMP Moderate authorized environment.
The Atlassian Government Cloud features:
- FedRAMP Moderate Authorization ensuring compliance with federal security requirements
- A Dedicated Environment which operates separately from the commercial Atlassian cloud, providing enhanced data isolation
- Core Atlassian Applications with use of Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management
- Enhanced Security Controls such as SAML SSO, audit logs, and API token management
- Data Residency with all data is stored within the United States
When Atlassian reached out to us and asked us to participate, we were pleased to join the effort. After a few weeks of hard work and dedication from our dev team Checklists for Jira (Pro) is FedRAMP compliant and registered with Atlassian as approved for use in the Government Cloud.
If you’re migrating from Data Center to the Atlassian Government Cloud, ask that Checklists for Jira (Pro) be included in your ACG instance.
Government agencies have immense, often thankless tasks. We’re honored to be part of making their work easier.
